La.Vi is an acoustic outfit formed during the winter of 2010 in Somerset-West. Founded by Chantel van Tonder and acoustic guitarist Kenan Tatt – and now joined by Jonny Ueckermann (bass, vocals) and John Van Zyl (drums) –  their eclectic sound has been described as 'upbeat alternative acoustic' and 'earthy blues'.

With a steady regimen of gigs since their recent formation, as well as a summer tour with Holiday Murray, La.Vi have become fan favourites at The Assembly since their debut in January 29th 2011. With plans to release their debut EP and music video early in the new year, La.Vi are definitely a band to look out for.
