Yes, some say he’s retarded for deciding to embrace music in its unrestricted entirety, but the result is a powerful mash-up of genres, grabbing you by the hair and dragging you through filthy muck with the recurrent visions of epic soul-touching soundscapes. Using a mix of skill and crowd control he stays a step ahead and keeps the floor guessing as to what happens next, threading his rich and unique brand of electronic and organic dance music yet never missing a beat.

Nastie Ed bought his first turntable and mixer in 1998 at the age of 16 and has been partying up a storm for over a decade. Starting his DJ career scratching and juggling Hip-Hop in the late 90s, he has since learnt to embrace everything from hardcore Hip-Hop to Funk, Electro, Dubstep, Drum ‘n’ Bass and Soul. As co-founder of the 3′Must-Get-Funked parties they have featured with the likes of DJ A-Trak, Steinski, Jneiro Jarell, DJ Krush, Metro Area, DJ Craze and Q-Bert.
