SFR has been an active part in the South African Drum ‘n Bass scene for the past 7 years. He has numerous releases on top international record labels such as Trouble on Vinyl and Zombie Recordings.

Since 2008, SFR has been focusing on developing a unique style of hard hitting Dubstep aimed strictly for the dance floor. This has proven successful with 12" vinyl releases forthcoming on Twisted Individual’s Guinea Pig Recordings, Grid Recordings, SPL and Roommate’s Hollow Point Records and Danny Wheeler’s W10 Recordings. SFR not only delivers in the studio, his talent carries over to the decks with his exceptional crowd control and ability to create dance floor momentum which evidently won him the 2006 True Playaz mix contest. He also contributed a track to Jack Parow’s self-titled debut album released in 2010.

Having held the fort alongside some of the Drum n Bass scene’s most respected DJ’s, SFR has successfully performed all around his home country South Africa, as well as touring England, France, Belgium, Germany and Sweden numerous times since 2007. As the most celebrated Dubstep DJ and producer in South Africa and with more vinyl and MP3 releases than any other local act, SFR is clearly a force to be reckoned with.
